Our Pastor

Harry Strachan

Pastor Strachan has been in full time ministry since 1980. He has served as youth pastor, Christian school teacher, and assistant pastor. In 1996, he and his wife Andrea, along with their three children, moved to Ashland to assume the senior pastorate of Calvary Baptist Church. Graduating from Baptist Bible College Canada in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Bachelor of Theology degree in 1986, he then went on to recieve a Master of Biblical Studies in 1993 from Bethany Theological Seminary in Dothan, Alabama.

Pastor Strachan loves the church, and even though CBC has seen growth from a small group of believers to an average attendance of close to 500, CBC maintains a close-knit family atmosphere with a passion for serving people. God has blessed CBC with beautiful facilities on 23 acres of land and a vision for continued growth in the area of ministry and buildings.
